Safety netting is the cheapest, safest and fastest way to minimise the risk of a fall when working at heights.
Safety netting is suspended directly below the working platform from where an individual at work may fall. They are engineered to reduce the loads on both the faller and the structure to which the safety net system is attached. They minimise the height and consequences of a fall, providing a soft landing for the faller by stretching in a controlled way, thus minimising injury.
This is also the preferred method to be used when working at height by the HSE and complies fully with the work at height regulations 2005.
• We rigorously inspect and maintain our safety nets for every job, all of which conforms to BS EN 1263-1:2014 and BS 8411:2019 (code of practice)
•Our nets are tested for UV degradation annually.
•All our safety nets are installed by trained and qualified FASET NVQ level2 assessed riggers.
Temporary edge protection is typically installed to the perimeter of the working area or voids, providing a safe and contained working environment for your operatives.
• We maintain a safe and thorough attention to detail ensuring works are installed safely and correctly.
• All our edge protection is installed only by qualified and competent operatives.
• Conforms to BS EN 13374 Edge protection using tube and fitting components.
Debris netting is an extra safety precaution usually installed to the bottom of the fall arrest safety netting to contain any debris or tools falling through the safety nets, thus helping prevent injury or near misses to any body below the construction area.
Sacrificial Netting is usually installed on the top of a roof when access is restricted or isn't possible to install safety netting to the underside of the working area, This is usually in works were the roof is being over cladded and the nets will remain on top of the roof but underneath the new roof layer.
